Image is 10.75" x 13.12" on a 16x20 sheet of Bergger Cot 320 rag cotton paper. The image is formed from an equal volume of gold chloride and of platinum chloride. The print is identified as "1/1 Karytype (Pt/Au). The Awakening of the Angel" in pencil and signed by the photographer in pencil. The purple streaks in the image were obtained by coating with a cheap brush that splayed in clumps of hairs/fibers of varying width. The broader clumps retained more moisture and so the gold portion applied by those clumps rendered as purple and the whole appears streaked (like a rainbow of the soul).

The subject is available printed as 1/1, up to approximately 13" x 17", in any of the following metals: The image may be printed on any of various medium to heavy weight rag cotton papers, such as Arches Platine, Bergger Cot 320, Arches Aquarelle, Revere Platinum, etc., depending on availability at the type of printing.
